You can also access Brightspace through the browser on your mobile device. It is built to be mobile responsive.

We do not recommend taking an entire course using a mobile device. Some features and content are not available directly on mobile

Brightspace Pulse app features and limitations

Students can use Brightspace Pulse to:

  • See important dates and deadlines for each course
  • Anticipate busiest times with a quick glance
  • Receive the latest grades, course content, and announcements
  • Enter events and deadlines
  • View courses and course content
  • Log in to Brightspace using a browser to complete tasks

We recommend accessing certain content on a laptop or desktop computer. For example: 

  • Taking tests or quizzes
  • 3rd party programs or links (Connect, mymathlab, McGraw Hill, etc) may not be compatible with your mobile device

Use a non-mobile device when taking tests or whenever the content is not accessible on your mobile device

 

Troubleshooting - If the app is not working: 

  1. Try clearing the app cache 
  2. Next, try uninstalling and reinstalling the app
