Get Started with Brightspace
1. Verify you know your account information and are enrolled
You can sign in to Brightspace with your college email address and password usually within about 10 minutes after enrolling in a course. Sometimes it takes an overnight process.

2. Ensure you have a computer that works well with Brightspace and other college systems

Brightspace System CheckEnsure that your computer is set up to use Brightspace.

Technology Access ProgramIf you do not have a reliable computer or internet access, current students can borrow a laptop and/or an internet hotspot free of charge from our Technology Access Program.
Access to technology should not be a barrier for anyone attending Madison College.
3. Sign in to Brightspace
You'll find links to Brightspace on the Madison College Current Students page and at the top of Library web pages.

Courses in Brightspace - Access and AvailabilityYour course content may not be available in Brightspace until a couple days prior to the official start date of the course. Instructors may adjust when course content is available in their Brightspace course.
4. Log out
Log out of Brightspace and other applications, especially when using a shared computer.
