Ease of use - Syncs everywhere with support for all browsers, operating systems, and mobile devices
Personal accounts - In addition to the LastPass Enterprise account for Madison College-related credentials, the LastPass as Families Benefit grants you and 5 family members personal accounts to help keep your non-Madison College accounts secure
Security - LastPass encrypts and decrypts your data locally on your machine and never has the key to your vault. The password generator helps to improve the complexity of your passwords and the Security Dashboard can identify potentially compromised passwords
Using your LastPass vault - Quick Start
After activating your LastPass account and installing the browser extension, get started with this quick start video on your LastPass vault.
Activate your LastPass Enterprise Account
- Sign into the https://myaccess.microsoft.com portal, find the MC-LastPass Access Package, and choose Request. More details on choosing an Access Package
- You will receive an email from LastPass to Activate your Account.

Security Dashboard
Use the ‘Security Dashboard’ in LastPass to help identify passwords that may be weak or reused on multiple sites.
The dark web monitoring feature in the ‘Security Dashboard’ evaluates your stored email addresses in your vault items, and alerts you via email notification and within the Security Dashboard if any of your email addresses have been found in the database of breached credentials.
