New features roll out often

You will need to periodically login to the app.

You cannot take an online course completely from a mobile device or tablet. Some features and content of a course are not available through the mobile apps. 

Troubleshooting - If the app is not working: 

  1. Try clearing the app history and cache 
  2. Next, try uninstalling and reinstalling the app 

Blackboard Mobile Learn - no longer available (Aug 2017) and does not work on iOS 11.

Features and Limitations - Mobile Blackboard

Blackboard Student app allows  you to view content - announcements, discussions, grades, some text content like blogs and journals, and some media content.

Mobile  apps should not be used for: Taking tests or Quizzes

Some content cannot be viewed on mobile devices. For example: 

  • Media such as Flash, Java, or Quicktime video may not play on all mobile devices.
  • 3rd party programs or links (Connect, mymathlab, Films on Demand, McGraw Hill, etc) may not be compatible with your mobile device.

Be sure to use a non-mobile device when taking tests or whenever the content is not accessible on your mobile device.
