What is Blackboard Collaborate Ultra?
Instructors may add recorded lectures, presentations or use web-conferencing using Blackboard Collaborate Ultra:
- share a whiteboard
- view web pages, Powerpoints, or video simultaneously
- view or share documents
- chat by voice or text
- watch a pre-recorded session or lecture
- and more
If your class is using Blackboard Collaborate Ultra, your instructor will have links to Collaborate in your Blackboard course, or may email you a link, and they will let you know the dates and times the Collaborate sessions will be held.
What do I need? Equipment and Compatibility: You'll need a computer with an reliable internet connection, and speakers or headphones. To participate with your audio and video, you may use a microphone, a USB headset, a webcam or the built-in webcam on a laptop.
