Hello my name is James. I am originally from Columbus, Ohio. I have worked in libraries since 2007. I moved to Madison, Wisconsin in 2014 for my previous job at UW-Whitewater. Prior to that I worked at the local community college and various public libraries in the Columbus area.
I received my Master’s in Library and Information Science in 2012 from Kent State University and Bachelor of the Arts in History and Political Science from Otterbein College in 2010.
My subject areas at Madison College include Sociology, Art History, Architecture, Performing Arts, and Visual Communication.
I have a wide range of experience helping students doing research in the humanities and social sciences.
I know how important first impressions can be when starting the college experience. My hope is that your first interaction with Madison College Libraries is a positive one that will grow over time as we help you prepare for your next step in life.
