Linking to Credo Reference

Credo Reference includes reference titles such as encyclopedias, biographies, medical dictionaries and much more covering many subject areas. Also included are short reference videos and high-resolution art images.

Credo Permalinks

  • A persistent link can be created to a particular article or a reference book title in Credo
  • Off-campus users must log in to access Credo content through Madison College Libraries

To create a Credo persistent link that will allow off-campus access:

  1. Go to Credo Reference, linked to on the Madison College Libraries Find Articles page
  2. Locate an article or publication of interest
  3. Do not use the link from the browser address bar. Instead, find the permalink in one of three places, depending on what area of the site you are in:
    1. The Copy Link chain icon on the top right cornerCredo copy link screenshot
    2. The Share link in the entry menuCredo share link
    3. The Record URL information at the bottom of an entry credo record URL
  4. Copy the entire Share, Copy Link, or Record URL
  5. Paste the entire link into your document, Brightspace, webpage, or email
  6. Test the link
