What can you do in Blackboard Collaborate Ultra?

Instructors may add recorded lectures, presentations, or use web-conferencing tools in Blackboard's Collaborate

  • share a whiteboard
  • view web pages, PowerPoint slides, or videos simultaneously
  • view or share documents
  • chat by voice or text
  • watch a pre-recorded session or lecture
  • and more

If your class is using Blackboard Collaborate, your instructor will have links to Collaborate in your Blackboard course or may email you a link. They will let you know the dates and times the Collaborate sessions will be held.

What equipment do I need? You will need a computer with an reliable internet connection, and speakers or headphones to listen. To participate with your audio and video, you may use a microphone, a USB headset, a webcam or the built-in webcam on a laptop.
