Google Drive is a file storage and synchronization service by Google that was released on April 24, 2012. Google Drive is the home of a suite of productivity applications including Google Docs, Slides, Sheets, Calendar, Chat, and Meet, and Forms. These applications offer collaborative editing on documents, spreadsheets, presentations, and more. Users are able to open and edit documents at the same time.
