Madison College Mobile: Mobile email

 Microsoft Outlook mobile app is the only mobile mail client supported by the College

Instructions may vary on your device, these are intended as a guideline.

1. Install the Outlook mobile app from the Google Play Store
   
2. Once the install has finished choose Open 
   
3. Select Add Account 
   
4. Enter your Madison College email address and select Continue 
   
5. Sign in with your Madison College email address and password. You may need to approve your sign in request with the Authenticator app, text message, or phone call (see our MFA guide) if adding the Outlook mobile app from off-campus. Or, you will be prompted to register MFA methods from off-campus if you do not have any registered.
   
6. You should be set up to begin receiving your Madison College email through the Outlook mobile app

1. Get the Microsoft Outlook app from the App Store 
   
2. Choose Install 
   
3. Once the install has finished, choose Open 
   
4. You will be prompted to add an account. Enter your Madison College email address and select Add Account
   
5. Proceed to sign in with your Madison College email address and password. You will be asked to approve your sign in request with the Authenticator app, text message, or phone call (see our MFA guide) if adding the Outlook app from off-campus. Or, you will be prompted to register MFA methods if you do not have any registered. 
   
6. You will be asked if you'd like to add another account. Choose Maybe Later
   
7. You will be brought to your inbox and should be set up to begin receiving your Madison College email through the Outlook app

• Madison College Approved - The Outlook Mobile app is the only mail app that is supported by Madison College Technology Services
• Convenient - It supports other mail accounts in addition to your Madison College email. If you prefer to have your mail accounts in one place, you can add them to the Outlook app, should you choose.
• More secure - Provides a more secure sign-in and better protects your account and the College systems
• Integrations - It is made by Microsoft and provides convenient integrations with other Microsoft apps, such as OneDrive

Password Resets - When you change your password, you will need also need to update your password for College accounts on your mobile device - or you may get locked out of your College accounts.

Mobile device or data plan questions - Check with your wireless service provider and manufacturer with any questions about your device's capabilities or data plan.

The Outlook Mobile App uses a focused inbox to help prioritize your emails. Be sure to check your Other tab as well to make sure you're not missing any important emails. If you'd like, you can toggle the focused inbox off within the Outlook mobile app settings.

If you'd prefer not to add an app, you can access your student email through your device's web browser or the desktop client. 
 

Log in to your Outlook Student Email on the web

OR access student email from the College's site:

1. Start at the Madison College homepage http://madisoncollege.edu
2. Select Current Students in the top navigation
3. Select the Student Email button
