Hi everyone, welcome to my profile. I am a Wisconsin native from the Driftless Region. I was raised on a hobby farm in a very small town. Yes, we had goats.
After high school I moved on to the big city. There, I earned a BS in Literature from UW-Madison. As an undergrad, I changed my major from biology to agriculture to horticulture to nursing and finally to literature (my love). I also changed schools 5 times. I spent a year teaching English to middle school students in ShenZhen, China. Then, I pursued a Masters degree in Library and Information Science (MLIS), which brought me here.
I understand a lot of the trials of the first few years of college. I've been there over and over again :). I love helping students navigate college, providing guidance and assistance, and watching them grow and mature.
When I am not at work, I spend time with my family, running, doing yoga, and of course reading.
