Hi, and welcome to Madison College! I'm a librarian at both the Truax and Goodman South campuses, specializing in reference and instruction - especially online. I'm also in charge of the Book A Librarian program.
I received my MLIS from UW-Madison and have worked at public and academic libraries across Wisconsin ever since, although I'm originally from California. I like to say that I moved to Wisconsin because of the wonderful weather! Really, though, it was the educational opportunities at all of the great schools Madison has to offer. Coming from a family of teachers and with a pre-library school background in teaching myself, I care deeply about the different ways that libraries can support instruction.
When not at work, I enjoy reading, playing video games, going for walks with my husband, and spending time with our guinea pigs.
