Interlibrary Loan: Interlibrary Loan

The Madison College Libraries are happy to try and obtain up to five items at a time from other libraries for students, staff or faculty. We try to get material as quickly as possible, but keep in mind that depending on the availability of the item and other factors, it is not possible to guarantee when and if the item will arrive. Sorry, but we do not borrow or lend textbooks.  For more information, please see our policies.

To request an item not found at Madison College, first search the Madison College library catalog. There is a search box on the right. Type in the title, author, or other keyword and search.  If the item in question is not owned by Madison College Libraries, select "Libraries Worldwide" box on the left or in the yellow banner. See an example in the box below.

Once the item in question is found, click on the title and scroll down to click on the blue "Request Item through Interlibrary Loan" button:
