After receiving my Library degree from UW-Madison, I have been a librarian at Madison College since 1992. In that time, I have had a variety of responsibilities and have worked at multiple campus locations. I have been a subject liaison to several areas, with my English Department stint the longest. My favorite part of the job is helping students find reliable resources for their research.
My favorite volunteer opportunities are those dealing with food, a reason I enjoy working on the Food Issues research guide. When I'm not working, I enjoy reading, running, walking, traveling, cheering for the Wisconsin Badgers, and watching movies. Speaking of movies, I've been to the Wisconsin Film Festival every year of its existence, and my favorite research guide to work on is Film Studies.
