National Library Week: Faculty Friend of the Libraries

There's More to the Story!

Faculty Friend of the Libraires

Congratulations to this year's winner, English Instructor, Dr. Timothy Twohill!

Since 2016, our team of librarians have been given an opportunity to nominate a faculty member who is a champion of library services and information literacy instruction as part of our National Library Week celebration every April.  These are faculty who make us, and our students, better, by introducing students to library research, recommending materials for the curriculum, including librarians in their Blackboard course pages and so much more.  Often, these faculty have consistently and collaboratively worked with our team for new and exciting ways to help students throughout many semesters.  This year's honoree is part of a team of heroes.

Dr. Timothy Twohill

Madison College Libraries wish to extend congratulations and a thank you to Tim Twohill, the 2023 Faculty Friend of the Madison College Libraries. Tim has been a steadfast supporter of Madison College Libraries for many years. Those of us who are fortunate to work with Tim and his students admire how friendly, enthusiastic and approachable he is. He consistently brings his classes for library research instruction, and we librarians are always energized by Tim’s commitment to collaborating with us in the pursuit of student excellence in research.

Thank you for being a great supporter of our libraries!
