Faculty Friend of the Library Award Announced
Since 2016, our team of librarians have been given an opportunity to nominate a faculty member who is a champion of library services and information literacy instruction as part of our National Library Week celebration every April.

These are faculty who make us, and our students better, by introducing students to library research, recommending materials for the curriculum, including librarians in their Blackboard course pages and so much more.  Often, these faculty have consistently and collaboratively worked with our team for new and exciting ways to help students throughout many semesters.

Past Faculty Friend Award recipients:

2024 - Jonathan Pollack, History | 2023 - Tim Twohill, English | 2022 - Joel Ryan, History | 2021 - Lisa Cappelli, Nursing | 2019 - Suzanne Gittleman, English | 2018 - Cherif Correa, English | 2017 - Marty Richards, English | 2016 - Julie Monroe, English
