Academic Advising Services

Call the Fort Atkinson campus front office to make an advising appointment:


FREE online assistance for students choosing a career, learning about educational options, and finding employment. Includes job skill assessments, job search advice, a Resume Maker, an ePortfolio designer, and links to employment sites.

Make an appointment with an Academic Advisor (see above) to schedule an orientation and receive a username and password.

Learning Express

This database offers short courses in the following: job search, resumes, and interviewing skills, entrance prep for nursing, civil service exams, CDL exams , GED preparation and the TOEFL test, as well as popular software tutorials.

Madison College Students: to access the Learning Express Library for the first time, just register to create a User ID and password. It only takes a few minutes.

  • You can limit your search by 'Type' if you want a particular format.
  • Search the Library Catalog in the box below.
  • If you need an item from another campus, we can get them for you through Interlibrary Loan

  • In the results window, click on a title that interests you, then click on the link "Connect to this Resource Online" and finally "View this eBook," to read the book online.
