Hotspot Information
Hotspot Models Available through Madison College
The College has an inventory of hotspots available for student use for semester-long checkout. These mobile hotspots are activated with data plans provided by T-Mobile (Sprint) and US Cellular. At no cost to students. Visit the Technology Access Program page to submit a request to borrow a hotspot. Please contact us by phone at 608-243-4444 or email if you have any questions about requesting a hotspot. Below is information about some of the models that are available.

Coverage Area Information:
- Unfortunately we cannot 100% guarantee these hotspots will work in every area.
- Most hotspots will work anywhere a cell phone works.
- Check https://www.t-mobile.com/coverage/coverage-map to see what the T-Mobile coverage is in your area.
- Check https://www.uscellular.com/coverage-map for the coverage available with the U.S. Cellular models.
Other Options:
- Consider using your cell phone as a hotspot. Please note this option may require additional data through your wireless provider.
- Consider purchasing a hotspot from a wireless provider that does provide coverage in your area.
- If funding is needed for either of those options, the College does encourage students to apply for emergency funding to help you cover the cost.
