Fun / Interesting Facts About Our Library Team

  • One of our coaches was formerly a classroom teacher in Texas and his most famous pupil was Drew Brees, recently retired quarterback of the New Orleans Saints
  • Another librarian coach was visiting inside the White House the morning of September 11, 2001.
  • The combined total years of experience working in libraries that our library team has = 296.  We are experienced!
  • Another librarian coach was an unpaid extra in the film Major League.
  • One librarian coach was recruited to play professional tennis at age 13.
  • More than one librarian coach has multiple tattoos.
  • One of our coaches served three tours of duty with the famous 101st Airborne.
  • Another librarian coach was bitten by a monkey.
  • One of our newest librarian coaches paid their way through grad school by DJing.
  • One librarian worked in a rare book library which housed the Magna Carta from the 1500's.
  • One team member is a distant relative of Sonny Bono (ala Sonny & Cher).
  • One librarian coach completed the Macau International Half Marathon.
  • One librarian coach won a gold medal in Equestrian Sports in the Badger State Games.
