Instructors may add recorded lectures, presentations or use web-conferencing using Blackboard's Collaborate:
If your class is using Blackboard, your instructor will have links to Collaborate in your Blackboard course, or may email you a link, and they will let you know the dates and times the Collaborate sessions will be held.
What do I need? Equipment and Compatibility: You'll need a computer with an reliable internet connection, and speakers or headphones. To participate with your audio and video, you may use a microphone, a USB headset, a webcam or the built-in webcam on a laptop.
1. Get Ready - check your computer and browser
2. Setup your Audio and Video
Or Go Mobile with the Blackboard Student App
Stop in the library if you have questions or want to book a multimedia study room / use library equipment so you can participate in a class session.
Using technology on campus, we currently recommend using Firefox with Collaborate. Some issues have been reported using Chrome with Collaborate and Technology Services is checking on this.
