What is Facebook?
Facebook is a social networking site that has become a norm within global culture. It has around 1.06 billion monthly active users worldwide. Members "friend" each other and can share postings, photos, videos and more with one, some or all of their friends. Users can also join networks or like pages of a wide range of things like ice cream to the Green Bay Packers to Madison Area Technical College Libraries. Facebook was used as a new tool during the past two presidential election and is also used as a way to support causes. Facebook is available on mobile devices.
