Credo Reference includes over 600 reference titles that include encyclopedias, biographies, medical dictionaries and much more covering many subject areas. Also included are short reference videos and high-resolution art images.

Credo Persistent Links

  • A persistent link can be created to a particular article or a reference book title in Credo
  • Off-campus users must authenticate (log in with their college username and password) to Madison College Libraries through ezproxy

To create a Credo persistent link which will allow off-campus access through EZproxy:

  1. Go to the Credo Reference link which is listed on the Madison College Libraries Find Articles page.
  2. Locate an article or publication of interest.
  3. For links to an entry or article - Do not use the link from the browser address bar. Instead, scroll down to the bottom of the article and locate the citation. Select and copy the entire URL beginning with http://ezproxy.madisoncollege.edu...    Example:Credo EZproxy example
  4. For links to a title - If the Madison College EZproxy prefix https://ezproxy.madisoncollege.edu/login?url= is not already included at the start of a URL, use the EZproxy URL Creator to append the prefix to the URL.
  5. Paste the entire link with the EZproxy prefix into your document, Blackboard, webpage, or email.
  6. Test the link.
